I used to get my hair cut by this madman twice a month for four years. No one, NO ONE, cuts a pompadour like Seth Yates can. He has this amazing time vortez of a shop straight from a ’50s comic. Essentially, it’s a fully-functional shop and all his equipment is vintage. Oh, also, he has a tattoo shop in the rooms next door. Yep, you can get your hair cut and get inked up in the same shop. If you find yourself down in San Diego, get thee to Ocean Beach and see Seth. He’ll hook you up.
It’s definitely a hard bop night for this cat.
The best thing about these guys is they had BOTH style and substance. YES! A rare double threat. Also, how about those album covers? Yeah. You want some. Don’t lie.
