Some burn couches, others loot from store windows. But, when hockey-induced havoc fills the streets of Vancouver, some people take that opportunity to just flat-out make-out. Seriously, this is real:

“I’m not sure what exactly was going on,” photographer Rich Lam confesses on the phone. “I just saw these two people and I thought they were hurt … I didn’t really know what I got until the editor pointed it out.”

Hopefully the people in the photo will come forth and explain what, exactly, was going through their heads. Is this the V-J day in Times Square of our generation?

Because I’m tall, I dream of a bathtub, preferably a claw foot, that allows me to stretch out to my full height. This image, full of dark wood, bubbles, and windows, fills me with intimate hope.

Hmmmm… I think it would be awesome if my girl came home to some chocolate chip cookies after work. Time to get to it.
